Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce
Annual Legislative Breakfast
WHITINSVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS -- The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce will host the Annual Legislative Breakfast on Friday, February 17th, 2017, 7:30-9:00 AM at the Valley’s newest restaurant, “Galliford’s’ located at the Southwick’s Zoo, 2 Southwick Street, Mendon MA
All of the Valley’s state legislator are expected to attend. Senator Michael Moore, (Grafton, Millbury, Northbridge, Upton), Senator Ryan Fattman, (Blackstone, Douglas, Hopedale, Mendon, Millville, Northbridge, Sutton, Uxbridge), Representatives David Muradian, (Grafton, Northbridge, Upton), Kevin Kuros, (Bellingham, Blackstone, Millville, Uxbridge) Joseph McKenna, (Douglas, Sutton), Paul Frost (Millbury), and our newest legislator, Brian Murray (Hopedale, Mendon). This is a prime opportunity to meet and greet your local legislators and bring to their attention your questions and concerns for the new administration and learn how new initiatives may affect us here in the Blackstone Valley.
The BVCC is excited to host this important event at the Valley’s newest restaurant, “Galliford’s”, at Southwick’s Zoo. The name Galliford’s comes from Robert Galliford Brewer. Robert Brewer was the patriarch of the Brewer family, and without his guidance Southwick’s Zoo would not be the popular New England attraction it is today. His family felt naming the restaurant in his honor was a fitting tribute to his legacy. Keeping in line with the family’s English roots, Galliford’s will have a rustic, farmstead feel perfect for enjoying a cozy meal with friends and family.
The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Annual Legislative Breakfast will be the first public event held at this full service restaurant and function facility. Registration begins at 7:30am with the event beginning at 8:00am. The cost is $30.00 for members, and $40.00 for nonmembers and day of event. Please call The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce at 508-234-9090 X100, email at or visit  to register. Registrations also accepted at the door at the non-member fee.
The mission of the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce is to promote the economic vitality of the Blackstone Valley, meet the needs of the Chamber's business members, while providing leadership on issues which impact the economy and quality of life in the Valley.
